For years, the organic market expanded at a blistering pace. When growth began to slow, some questioned whether the organic sector would become as large as promised.

While organic isn’t seeing the same rapid, double-digit growth as in previous years, the good news is that organic is still on the up and up—and it’s not going anywhere.

Currently, organic accounts for 14% of all produce sales. As a category, organic produce is growing 5-7x faster than conventional. And in the baby food aisle, organic products account for a full quarter (25%) of all sales.
